Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | unspayed
I've had my hamster for a little over a year, and just recently she started making noises when she sleeps. It's very concerning, nothing has changed in the environment so I have no idea why she's just now starting it. Do you have any suggestions on what it might be or what I can do?

Thanks for reaching out about Lucy. If the sounds appear from the respiratory system, respiratory congestion is possible. This could be a primary pneumonia or congestion from heart, renal or liver disease. A veterinary visit is needed to diagnose and prescribe a treatment plan. Good luck.
