My 3-month-old kitten has nipple lumps. Is it serious or can spaying help?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

Hi, my kitten is 3 months old. Tomorrow we take her to get spayed. A week ago or two I noticed that there are lumps under her nipples. Please advise if it can be serious. Or can spaying help her get rid of those lumps. Thank you

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mellow. I recommend showing the bumps to her veterinarian tomorrow at the check in for surgery. You can be advised if they are anything to worry about for her. Older cats will develop mammary growths, but this would be unusual in such a young kitten. It is hopefully fine, but you do need to mention it. I hope this information helps!
