Why is my dog peeing hourly and whining after ear infection?

Pet's info: Dog | American Bully | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 83 lbs

My 1yr old American bully weight is 83lb is urinating every hour on the hour but doesn't drink slot when he does.drink he gulps water but he's a.big dog his appitite is big and he's been whinning slot.what.can I do we just.had him at.over for yeast infection in ears

Some medications for treating other issues, such as steroids, can cause an increase in urination, so if Frostbite is on any of these medications for the yeast infection, seeing if increased urination is a side effect of them is a good step as well. If it is, talking with your vet to see if changing his medications or the dosage may be a good idea. Issues such as urinary tract infections or even metabolic diseases can cause excessive urination as well. Bringing Frostbite back to your vet along with a sample of his urine may help determine if this is the case. Your vet can test the urine and may recommend bloodwork to rule out any metabolic problems.
