Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 14 lbs

Hi there. I have to leave town for a bit and am trying to figure out what to do with my cat. This is the first long trip Ive taken since getting him. Will it be okay to leave him in my apartment with a pet sitter that stops by every other day for nearly 3 weeks? Hes 11 and perfectly able to take care of himself im just worried hell get sad and lonely and not like me when i get back. Hes definitely a talker and loves lots of cuddles. Any ideas or tips would be much appreciated!

He will still like you, however I would suggest you have the pet sitter come every day and make sure that the pet sitter talks to your kitty and also give him some cuddles if he wants them. Zeke will miss you, but he will be very happy to see you when you get back.
