My ferret is lethargic, won't eat, and has abdominal pain. What to do?

my ferret who is usually full of energy has become very lethargic today he will walk about then fall asleep and become kinda lifeless then move again also with loss of appietite and he will only drink when I make him. About five minutes ago I picked him up and he cried in pain when I touched his abdominal area what do I do. no vets are open by me now.

Thanks for reaching out about Alaska. At this young age, a gastrointestinal foreign body would be highly suspicious and could explain the pain and discomfort. If not eating, ferrets are prone to hypoglycemia, exasperating the lethargy. A veterinarian should be seen as soon as possible. Good luck.
