My kitten keeps pouncing and biting me. How do I stop this habit?

My kittien keeps pouncing on me and biting me. I don’t encourage this behavior and I push her aside but it’s becoming a habit. How can I stop this. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | 1lb

I would keep a toy on a pole nearby and distract her from playing with you to playing, attacking and biting the toy that is away from you. Teaching her to fetch or chase a laser pointer will also keep her busy and tired. This is only a strage and she will grow out of this in a month or two.
