I would recommend that Chico get checked out by a vet. There could be lots of causes including a torn ACL, broken bone, sprained ligament, or even bone or soft tissue cancer. After a physical exam, the vet may recommend x-rays to determine what is going on.

I would recommend bringing Chico to a veterinarian. If you can't get there today then I would put an elizabethan collar on him so he cannot lick at his foot. It almost looks like a possible infection. Your veterinarian will be able to evaluate it better when they examine him. Poor Chapo. It's obviously painful to him if he is limping. It could be a growth or fluid in his joint from an injury. He needs to see a vet for this problem, and I would take him into one first thing in the morning.
