My beagle has a red, irritated lip. What's going on with it?

Not quite sure what’s going on with my dogs lip. She’s a 2 1/2 year old beagle. Hasn’t gotten into anything of my knowledge. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 34 lbs

Hi there. Nova could have an abrasion from rubbing her face on something rough, or could have a mild allergy to something causing the redness.
