Is a protruding spine bone normal for my dog if he shows no pain?

One of the bones in my dogs spine sticks out is this normal, he doesn’t seem to be in any pain when you touch it or anything

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Hugo is very handsome. If this does not seem to bother him then it is probably just an anatomical variant and not anything concerning necessarily. If he ever seems to have pain from it, I recommend you have him evaluated by a veterinarian. Best of luck!
