So I have a few questions 1. Do you think that a 13 year old would be able to shadow a vet or do you think it’s too young 2. How and when did you decide you wanted to be a vet? Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 5 lbs

1. You can ask local vets if they will allow you to shadow them. Some may let you do it. 2. I knew I wanted to be a vet when I was five years old. My cat caught a chipmunk and injured it. I got it away from the cat and tried to fix it, but it unfortunately died. It was at that point when I knew I wanted to be a vet.
