Why is my 4-month-old kitten losing fur on his face near whiskers?

Our new kitten, 4 months, has lost a bit of fur on his left side muzzle under his whiskers. No other area is affected, the whiskers are all intact and he is not scratching at it nor does he mind us touching the area. All of our other cats show no symtoms like this. He is an indoor cat and we have no plants thru the house at all. Thank you for your time. Pet's info: Cat | Tonkinese | Male | neutered | 7 months and 18 days old | 6 lbs
