Why is my dog's poop dark after starting antibiotics and omega-3?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years old

He is active and running and playing and eating well 3 days ago because of skin rash vet prescribed him 625mg Augmentin once a day along with omega 3 syrup 20ml a day and he weigh 39 kg.... but since last day his potty color is little dark as shown in attached photo ....kindly see is the color ok and without blood or why it's dark?

The change is stool color is probably from the medication or new supplement. It doesn’t look like it is from blood from the photo. As long as he’s feeling fine finish the antibiotics and check the stool after they are done. It should go back to his normal stool color. If the dark stool continues then I recommend having it checked for occult blood and intestinal parasites. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Bruno.
