My dog ate a chocolate donut. Is she okay after I made her vomit?

Hello my teacup chihuahua ate an entire devils food donut. We noticed right away so I gave her hydrogen peroxide to make her vomit. It worked, but I’m still very worried. She probably threw up at least half of the donut. For the most part, she is acting very normal. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 5 lbs

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It sounds like Pixie should be fine. You can try to calculate the exact amount of chocolate in the donut and call your local emergency clinic and they can tell you over the phone if the amount is toxic or not, but it is unlikely to be. Otherwise watch for vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, seizures, hyperactivity. If these occur get her to a vet right away. These are unlikely to occur however. Best of luck with Pixie!
