My dog still limps 2 weeks after leg injury and meds. Is this normal?

My dog had a hurt his leg 2 weeks and the doctor gave him meds for 2 weeks and he plays walk runs and gos up stairs and when he comes down his 3 stairs he miss the last one and when he lays down to sleep he gets up and limps a little but over then that he is very play full and loves to play chase foot. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | 2 years old | 27 lbs

Keep in mind that his activity should be limited as he recovers.
