Is Powerade safe for my dog if he's vomiting and has diarrhea?

Hi! I’m just asking can dogs drink Powerade? My keeps vomiting and I saw that he had diarrhoea, also refusing to eat. The vet we went to gave us antibiotics and pills to vomiting. They also said to give him Powerade every hour. Is it really good for dogs? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 21 days old | 22.6 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, it is generally ok to give them Powerade to help replenish lost electrolytes. However, this may not be enough to keep him well if he has continued to vomit and have diarrhea. If this has continued, it would be best to have him reevaluated by your veterinarian. Best of luck!
