My puppy got parvo and was getting better on the 1st day and was discharged on the 2nd day, however we rushed her again to the clinic on the evening she got discharged because she pooped watery stools the minute we arrived home. I was told to force feed her but she immediately threw it all up so instead I gave her water which she drank but then threw up. Now is her 3rd day in the clinic and still wasn't eating anything and was still lethargic. I want to know if she's going to make it or not.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Yumi. I am sorry to hear that she is so ill. Most puppies do survive a parvovirus infection, but they require aggressive care. She will need to be on IV fluids, injectable antibiotics, and anti-nausea medication. Your veterinarian is right that she needs to eat. If the medication can control her vomiting, this will help her to keep food down. There is no way to know for sure if she will survive, but it sounds like you are providing her the care she needs. I hope this information helps!
