Kitten shots & neuter: Do missing records mean starting vaccines over?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 16 days old

Two things, I have a kitten born 6/18/18 that I was told had his first two sets of shots but the person I got him from hasn't gotten back to me with his records. Can I still get the 3rd and final set of shots or does he have to get all of them all over again. 2nd. I need to get him neutered. Do have to have all three sets of shots before he can be neutered? Actually a third thing, how can i make an appt onlind for the Peco Hospital?

It is important that booster vaccines are given 4 weeks apart for optimal immunity, so Milo may need to start the vaccine series over. At his age, he may only need two more rounds of vaccines. I am not 100% sure about the policies of the Petco Hospital near you, but most veterinarians would feel comfortable proceeding with neuter surgery even if booster vaccines will be due later. When I tried searching for a full service Petco Veterinary Hospital near the zip code you provided I couldn't find one. I'd recommend giving the hospital you're interested in a call instead if you are unable to determine how to make an appointment online.
