Could I put a Hartz flea collar on my cat after I put Frontline on him 24 hours ago

I do not recommend doing both at the same time. Is there a reason why you want to add on the flea collar with the Frontline? If Georgie has fleas you would need to put the frontline on him once a month for at least 3 months. You can also discuss capstar with your veterinarian. That is a pill that will kill adult fleas for 24 hours so it is important to continue with the frontline. You also need to make sure all animals in the house are treated. On top of this you need to make sure you are cleaning your house frequently. Vacuuming carpets and couches and washing sheets. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

While the Hartz flea collar is not going to interact with the Frontline there are better options to consider if the Frontline isn't working. I'm assuming the collar contains tetrachlorvinphos which is more likely to cause toxicity than many other products. You may want to consider talking to your veterinarian about what is most effective for fleas and ticks in your area. A Seresto collar might be another product to consider - ask your vet.
