Should my dog get Bordetella and rabies vaccines at one vet visit?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 43.3 lbs

Mia is due for her second bordetella shot on Thursday and her rabies shot on the 18th. Am I able to wait until the 18th to get the bordetella shot or should I go early and get them both done?

It would be fine to give both at the same time in my opinion but it would be at the discretion of your veterinarian. The timing of when to go depends on her last vaccine. I would recommend you call ahead of time to check in with your veterinarian specifically as they need to decide if to proceed with the vaccines at the same time or not. Best of luck!
