My finches are sick and dying. Is it contagious to my cats or me?

I have 4 finch birds and 1 flew away recently but came back after 2 weeks but it was huddled to 1 side only with puffed up feathers and squinting eyes it is cold at night and hot in the morning. And today I found 2 of the finches dead. I have cats as pets too will this affect them and us? I have cleaned up the cages and removed both other birds to another cage. Pet's info: Bird | Finch | Female

Thanks for reaching out about your birds. There is the possibility that the first bird brought back something contagious. A veterinary visit is recommended as soon as possible. Good job isolating the birds, might slow spread of disease. Good luck.
