My dog's curved penis causes bladder stones and UTIs. What's next?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 34 lbs

adopted lemon beagle age 6 months from rescue group. At age 1, started peeing blood. Vet found "grit" in his bladder. At age 1 1/2 surgery to remove bladder stone size of walnut. On Hill's c/d urinary food. 2 uti's since surgery. dye test done. kidneys and urinary tract are perfectly formed. penis is problem. it curves back into sheath. never comes out. What now?

It sounds like you're doing a great job sticking with this issue and doing all the work to figure out what's going on. From that description, it sounds like surgery with a soft tissue surgeon (rather than a general practitioner, although that depends on how comfortable your regular vet is with surgery I suppose) is the next step! It sounds like you're getting close to resolving things. I hope you can get a surgery consult soon. Good luck!
