My dog's paw is punctured from a stick. Is it infected? What to do?

My dog stepped on a stick or something in our back yard and punctured his foot. We have cleaned it for 2 days and have been keepin an eye on it now I’m worried it’s infect or what I need to do.

Thank you for contacting Pet coach with your question about Zeppelin. It's certainly possible that this wound could be infected, and if it's red, swollen, warm to the touch, and/or there is pus, then yes it is infected. You will need to take him into a vet today have it examined and treated. Best of luck.
