Why is my senior parrot suddenly quiet, sleeping, and hiding?

my Senegal parrot who is 16 years old and practically bald, last 2 days all he wants to do is sleep or hide, he is still eating but he seems very quiet

Decreased energy is a very non-specific sign that can be linked to a variety of conditions so it is not possible to know exactly what is going on without an examination and likely diagnostics.
