Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | 5 years and 10 months old | 16 lbs
My 5 year old female dog has been having clear, slightly milky vaginal discharge. She has been to the vet and cytology was done. Normal bacterial and white blood cell amount. No frequent urination. Everything else seems normal other than the discharge. My vet suspected slight incontinence, and suggested my dog wear an blue-collar for a week to see if I can find any drips. It is now day 3, and I am not finding any urine, but the same gooey, very stringy clearish discharge. No smell. Suggestions?

Hi, has she been passing urine outside ? If so would you be able to take a urine sample ? I would then consider to have an abdominal ultrasound done on Yuzu, it can be done without an anaesthetic and it will give you more information about a possible pyrometra or any other abnormalities in the abdomen. If an ultrasound does not provide all the information required, then X-rays would be my next suggestion. Hope this helps,
