My kitten's leg healed wrong. Can surgery or therapy fix his stumble?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 29 days old

My kitten is 3 months old and when he was 1 month and 8 days old my mom stepped on him accidentally. Now my vet told me that his leg has healed badly, from inside and he often stumbles, his hand now sometimes doesnt stand straight, im not sure about this but I think of it as a problem. Is there a way of fixing his legs?? A surgery, physiotherapy or smth? Please help me Im so worried for my boy. Its not like he doesnt walk at all, its just that he stumbles and doesnt walk properly. Help me please

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear Nova had an accident that caused a leg issue. I would recommend he be re-evaluated by a veterinarian, or even an orthopedic specialist. At his age, it may be permanent, but depending on the type of injury there may be a possibility for a procedure to improve things. Good luck!
