Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 70 lbs

My 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix vomited twice, then the next day, I found a single white/cream-colored worm in her feces. That day, she would not eat. The following day (yesterday), she seemed to feel better, & ate her dinner (she eats Iams Adult food. She seems to feel fine today, and has not yet had another bowel movement for me to check.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! All these symptoms are likely due to the worms and she needs to be treated for this to improve. I recommend you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to start therapy accordingly based on their results. Best of luck!
