My dog's wound is growing, she's licking it, and is lethargic. Is it serious?

My female dog brownie (3.5 years) has had this wound for almost 2 weeks now. Earlier it was just a red spot but now it has grown bigger. She keeps licking it all the time. She has been very lethargic since yesterday and is hardly playing. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I would have Brownie examined by a vet. There looks like signs of infection, and it needs to be treated aggressively. Wounds in this area are often hard to heal since there is constant movement from the joint. There could also be something under the skin or a problem with bone causing delayed healing.
