My dog ate bagels and stomach is making weird noises. Should I worry?

My Doberman ate 3 bagels. Her stomach is making weird noises as if she needed to use the restroom. She sometimes licks her stomach. She is sleeping right now and doesnt seem to be in pain. Should I be worried?

Hi, as long as the bagels were pure and did not contain any raisins or any other potentially toxic ingredients, I would not worry about it if she is resting. Let her rest today and take her for just short walks little and often, and monitor for any vomiting and diarrhoea. I would starve her for at least 12-18 hours. If you should notice that the abdomen is swollen, or if she restless, panting, then best to have her checked over. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach !

    Hi if she has now vomited, she should feel better, and in theory should settle back to sleep. If she continues to vomit I would have her checked over, so she can have some medications to help her stomach settle. Also don’t let her drink too much, but little and often. Hope this helps !
