My dog is shaking and panting on a plane. What can I do to help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 20.08 lbs

My dog and I are on a plane traveling to NY. This would be his second time on a plane. He did great the first time. Now he’s panting, breathing hard and back legs are shaking. Last thing he ate was a yogurt with strawberries 15 mins ago. Idk why he’s shaking. What can I do until we land in NY?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is likely due to nerves. I would recommend you comfort him as much as possible. Pet him and let him know that you are there and everything will be alright. This will most likely resolve on its own eventually. Have a safe flight!
