How long do red-eared slider turtles live? Maximize their lifespan!

I was wondering how old red eared slider turtles live? I have had mine for years all it does is swim around the cage and stay right next to the glass. When we first got him there was another one that was with him but Bonnie ate all the food and Clyde died do you think that is why he died?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! When cared for appropriately, they can live 20-30 years. I think that the other turtle probably died of something other than due to Bonnie eating most of the food but that could have been possible in theory. Best of luck!
