Will a low-shedding cat and dander spray reduce my pet allergies?

I read that Ragdoll cats are fairly low shed bc they don't have an undercoat. I was wondering if the combination of one of these products & a low shedding cat would make them almost allergy free? Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Unfortunately no. They can still develop an allergy. Keep in mind that allergies are not only due to things in the environment but also to fleas and the food for example. Best of luck!
