My overweight dog stopped eating after finding moldy food. Is he sick?

My dog who is overweight stopped eating for 5 days, no other s/s ie nausea/vomiting, fever etc. Today I discovered moldy food at bottom of his food container. I assume water got in but did not feed him any moldy food. Any thing I can do? Should I worry about renal/liver failure? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

Hi, as Oliver started eating again ? If so and he seems back to his normal self, I would not worry. If he is still not himself, I would pop him into the vets to have him checked over and a blood test would be a sensible idea to find out more information about his health. Hope this helps !
