Thank you for submitting your question regarding your puppy. He will need to see his veterinarian today. He potentially has round worms. However, fecal testing will be necessary to confirm this and to determine if there are any other parasites presents. It is common for puppies to be infected with more than one type of parasite. Based on these results, medication can be prescribed. I hope this information helps!

Sorry to hear about Brody's current condition. The vomiting and diarrhea could certainly be caused by parasites alone. This needs to be treated with dewormer, which can be obtained through your veterinarian or over the counter at a store like tractor supply. Another possible cause of the symptoms you are seeing is something like the Parvovirus. At only three months of age, Brody is not yet fully vaccinated, meaning he is at risk of this condition. I would definitely take him to the vet to be tested for this disease. Before arriving at the vet, I would encourage you to tell the vet exactly what the symptoms are. They may ask that you wait in the car with Brody until the test results are back so as to prevent the spread of this condition to other animals in the facility. Hope this helps.
