How to treat a cut on my dog's butt that's not bothering him?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 24 days old | 58 lbs

I noticed this cut on Bentley’s butt. It’s not causing him any discomfort, and he’s not acting strange. What would be the most effective form of treatment to make sure it heals quickly

I cannot really see the injury well on this picture. This could be an infected anal gland which would have to be treated by a veterinarian. If it is just a scrape or a crack in the skin, you should shave the hair around it, flush it with a mild wound disinfectant and then apply some antibiotic ointment. If it does not heal in a week after doing this, your dog needs to be seen by your veterinarian for wound treatment.
