My cats are on lamisil cream but i stopped putting it cause they keep licking it, and i tried everything a cone and the donut ones but its just not working theyre old and never used such stuff so theyre not getting used to it at all. What can i do ? Knowing where i live pet medications are very limited and there r no good vets, i had an idea that after i put the cream i wrap it or make them wear pet clothes is that okay or not good? It has to be exposed to air? please give me something i can do

You can try pet clothes but I would not bandage since you could cause more issues if the bandage doesn't fit correctly. I would have the cats examined by a vet, those lesions are quite typical of ringworm in cats. It could be allergic (fleas, food allergies, atopy), bacterial, viral, immune-mediated, etc. Topical ointments are not a very good treatment for the reasons you have observed. Often oral medications work better.

I would do a few different things. First make sure Mani is on a flea and tick prevention. Then I would make sure he is on Clavamox (which he is). Putting an anti-fungal cream on him is not a bad idea. I would also put an ecollar on him if he is licking at the area. I would talk to your veterinarian about a steroid injection if he is scratching a lot. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
