Why is my hyper dog suddenly sleeping a lot and acting strange?

My dog has been acting strange for the past 3 days he has just been sleeping for hours and he is usually very hyper (blue heeler boy dog) I don’t know what is going on with him. What’s wrong? Pet's info: Dog | Blue Heeler | Male | unneutered | 44 lbs

Lethargy is unfortunately a very vague symptom that can be caused by a number of things including illness, GI upset, infections, diseases, pain, stress, etc. Since it has been ongoing for several days and hasn't improved, it is a good idea to schedule a visit with your vet to rule out a more serious issue or illness.
