My cat is stressed by loud banging. How can I help him relax and eat?

We’re replacing the roof of our house so there is loud banging all day, which will continue for the next few days. And it is stressing out my cat. He has lost a lot of his appetite and he won’t come out from under the bed. He’s had issues before with a stress related bladder infection. What can I do to help him relax and not stress out too much. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 12 lbs
