Is my dog reacting to Advantix applied near tail? Biting & can't walk.

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Male | neutered | 17.6 lbs

Hi, I applied some K9 Advantix below my dog’s tail a day ago but after that, he’s been trying to bite that place and trying to rub it on the ground. He also has a hard time walking. He sits right back down once he tries to walk. I tried washing him but I don’t think it changed anything.

He may have an adverse skin reaction to the Advantix. This happens sometime and should subside within a few days. You should really apply the spot-on onto the skin between the shoulder blades after parting the hair. The skin is less sensitive there (thicker), Should the spot where you applied it get raw, you need to have it examined by your veterinarian.
