My hamster has two-toned fur. Is it his food, shedding, or normal?

Hello I was just wondering if this hamster food is good for my hamster. I noticed his coat is two toned. Some of it looks silky and the other fuzzy. I don't know if it's the food or if he's growing out of his baby fur maybe? I just got him from Petco and I didn't think to ask his age. Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Male | unneutered

This is good quality hamster food. He may be shedding from baby hair to adult hair, but he could also have a mixed quality of hair, especially if he is a cross between a teddy bear hamster and a shorthaired hamster.
