Blood in urine points to a urinary tract infection, possible bladder stones, a kidney stones or infection, and since your dog is an older dog, can also point to bladder cancer. This definitely needs to be investigated by your veterinarian and in case of a UTI, treated with pain medication and a course of antibiotics. Bladder stones usually need to be removed surgically. Losing the use of her back legs may be connected to this, but there is also a possibility that she is suffering from severe arthritis,or a spinal cord condition that prevents her from walking properly. Please schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for an exam tomorrow.
