My puppy's chin bump opened into a sore. Should I see a vet?

My pit bull puppy around 10 weeks old had a bump on his chin and it opened up today into an open sore. No change in behavior or anything does he need to seen bu his vet? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 20 days old | 8 lbs

Not seeing the sore, this would depend on the size of the sore. If it is a small one, up to 1/4 inch, you can just put some neosporin on it and monitor it and make sure it heals. If it does not start healing within a day or two or if it is getting bigger or if it is leaking pus or bleeding, then I suggest you have your veterinarian examine it.
