My cat has a UTI. Can I change her medicine schedule for travel?

I'm new here and saw that you're very active on the site and helpful. I wanted to ask for your opinion. I have my cat who is on a prescription (Clavamox) for a UTI. I'm giving her medication morning and night but will be travelling for the holiday and am having trouble finding someone who can come by morning and night to give her the prescription. Do you think moving to once a day while I'm gone and then move back to twice a day when I'm back will be fine? Greatly appreciate your 2 cents, Mea

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! While it is not ideal to do that, if she has been getting that medication for a good bit now, doing it once daily instead of twice daily for 1 day should not affect things much. Have a good night!
