Is my female conure egg-bound? Tail down, squeaking. What should I do?

Pet's info: Bird | Conure | Female | 7 years and 3 months old

I have a female conure she has had many eggs no viable ones.. I am noticing she is constantly squeaking her tail is downward position.. feeding an drinking okay..she has a mate with her..wondering if egg bound.. an if so what can I do or any other suggestions

Thanks for reaching out about your conure. The bobbing of the tail could be an indication the there is another egg or breathing difficulty. Try taking her into the steamy warm bathroom to see if that will assist in laying an egg. If not, she needs to be presented to veterinarian today. Good luck.
