Do I need to transition dog food when switching familiar flavors?

When giving my dog new food, I do a transition. But if I switch from one blend to another (both of which he’s had before), do I need to do a transition every time? Like if he’s successfully had a lamb blend and chicken blend of a type of kibble before, do I need to do a full transition every time I switch flavors? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 25 lbs
