My dog won’t eat his food but acts like he’s starving. Is it his food or is he sick? He also has been just laying around the house and his poop smells. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 9 years and 1 month old | 18 lbs

I think that if this continues, Zekie should be evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may be able to look into this so that it can be treated. Further diagnostics would include general labwork and abdominal imaging. You can try giving him a bland diet such as one composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice to entice his appetite.
