Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 4 years old | 46 lbs
hello! my dog ate a dog treat today, and at night she vomitted first yellowy then a little bit red vomit, i couldn't tell if it was blood or the color of the dog treat (the treat had white and red parts) the vomitting did not continiue and i dont know what to do ! :( i am not able to take her to a vet at this moment but i decided to give her rice next morning and maybe then take her to a vet, could this be an emergency, thank you so much for having this online service!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Cuca is possibly going to be ok. As of now at least, this is not considered an emergency. This may be due to gastrointestinal upset which may resolve on its own. I would continue monitoring her and have her evaluated if this continues, or you notice other signs of illness such as diarrhea or inappetence. Good luck!
