My dog refuses Denamarin chewables. How can I get him to take them?

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs

My poodle was given denamarin chewable tablets but he doesn’t want it . Can I put it down his throat to swallow?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You could but these are almost too large for that. While the Denamarin should not be given with food per se, you could give them with a bit of peanut butter or cheese just to make it more appetizing. Also, you could dip them in chicken broth or dog grade gravy, Good luck!
