My cat has UTI symptoms, drinks a lot, but vet says no UTI. Stress?

Teddy began having symptoms o a UTI about a month ago. Vet gave him Amoxi & he seemed to quickly recover. About a week ago I had some loud construction done & he was very stressed. The symptoms (constant trips to litterbox producing little & licking of genitals) returned...another bottle of Amoxi & the symptoms began to lessen, but then he drank water for almost 4-5 minutes this afternoon & I've never seen him do that. fearing kidney problems I rushed him to vet. Bloodwork & xrays good... Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 14.5 lbs

I would talk to your veterinarian about medication for anxiety for Teddy. Sometimes cats that are very stressed cats can have urination issues and it could all be stress related.
