My cat has a gash on her cheek. Should I take her to the vet?

My cat! I dont know what happened but she has a gash on her cheek. We cleaned it with antiseptic, and she's been acting like herself, but I'm so worried. What can I do?

Ouch. She may have been in a fight with another cat, or possibly was hit by a car. I would take her to the vet for an exam, a wound cleaning and some pain medication and antibiotics if needed. That way it will heal faster and the risk of infection will be negotiable. I hope Alice feels better soon.
