Can I safely give rabies shots to inherited dogs with unknown history?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 35 lbs

Hello I have two dogs in my possession that I inherited after death. I know nothing of there medical history I was wondering if it would be dangerous 2 get rabies shots for them if they already had them

It will not be dangerous for them, in fact I recommend making sure they are up to date on all vaccinations. Even if that means getting them again. It will only protect them! I will say any dog can have a reaction, so just monitor for signs of swelling of any part of the body, difficulty breathing or excessive vomiting. These reactions are rare but can happen.
